The Grand Navratri Celebration at Krishnaswamy Vidyanikethan Senior Secondary School commenced on October 3rd and was observed with great reverence and splendour over the course of nine days. Each house of the school took responsibility for organising the day’s events, ensuring a seamless blend of devotion and celebration.
The program featured devotional songs, the recitation of slokas, and pooja ceremonies, creating a spiritually enriching experience for all attendees. On their designated days, students dressed as specific goddesses and spoke about their significance, explaining the attributes and values represented by each goddess, thereby maintaining the sanctity and cultural importance of the occasion.
The celebrations culminated on the final day with teachers taking charge of the concluding ceremonies, leading the pooja and devotional activities. This added special significance to the event and brought the Navratri festivities to a fitting conclusion. The event underscored the school’s dedication to upholding cultural traditions and fostering a sense of community among students and staff.
On October 12, the kindergarten celebrated Vidyarambam, featuring an online fancy dress competition conducted for the children. This engaging event attracted over 60 participants, showcasing the creativity and enthusiasm of the young ones, who embraced the festive spirit with joy and excitement. Winners were awarded shields and certificates by Principal Mrs. Elizabeth Joseph.
